BSCB Joint Training and Communications Sub Group

The purpose of this subgroup is to provide the strategic lead to promote learning and development by each Board and within its partner agencies. It will also be responsible to each Board for the planning, delivery and evaluation of multi-agency safeguarding training and the verification of single agency training.
The primary aim of this training is to equip staff with the required skills to effectively safeguard and protect children and adults who are at risk, thereby improving practice and ultimately leading to improved outcomes for children and adults at risk. The Sub Group will be responsible for ensuring that the Boards meet statutory requirements in relation to multi-agency training.
