Aims
To introduce you to the Domestic Abuse, Stalking and Honour based (DASH) Risk checklist and give you the confidence to use this tool to assess the risk of harm to a family where they are experiencing Domestic Abuse and be able to signpost to appropriate services depending on level of risk
Objectives
By the end of the session, participants will have been informed how:
• To recognise domestic violence and abuse.
• To understand the effect of domestic violence and abuse on children and families
• To identify how to assess RISK using the SafeLives DASH Risk checklist
• To know what do when DA is identified or disclosed
