Target Audience
This course is aimed at practitioners who work within the Children and Adults workforce as part of universal service or provide an early help service. As well as those who work within specialist services which sit under statutory intervention who wish to gain a better understanding of what is ‘Hoarding’ and an understanding of the impact of this.

Aims
The aim of this course is to raise awareness of what is ‘Hoarding’ and how this can impact on those that hoard, their family and the wider community.
Objectives
By the end of the session the course participants will have been informed how:
- To recognise when Hoarding becomes a Safeguarding Concern.
- To recognise how Hoarding can fit into the Care Act and understanding this.
- To recognise Hoarding within Mental health
- To recognise learning from Safeguarding Adult Reviews in regards of Hoarding
- To recognise what support is available to those affected by Hoarding
