Aims

Blackpool Safeguarding Children Board has completed four Multi-Agency Learning Reviews (MALR) in 2019. These have covered children of all ages, those receiving early help, subject to child protection plans and in the care of the local authority. The aim of the workshop is to provide a summary of learning from these reviews and to explore its relevance to practice more widely.

Objectives

By the end of the course participants will have:

  • An understanding of the circumstances of the four cases that were reviewed
  • Explored the learning arising from the reviews
  • Considered how this learning can be applied to their wider practice

Please make a note of the course title, code and date - these are needed for the application form.
