Target Audience
This course is aimed at practitioners who work within the children’s workforce as part of universal service or provide an early help service. As well as those who work within specialist services which sit under statutory intervention who wish to gain an insight into how pornography is affecting young people’s perception of relationships and expectations of partners.

Aims
The aim of this course is to enhance the course participants knowledge on the impact of pornography on children and young people and how to educate young people on positive relationships.
Objectives
By the end of the session the course participants will have been informed how:
- To look at the basic aspects of 21st century pornography, pop culture and media influence.
- To expand their knowledge of violence in young people’s relationships.
- To use a variety of resources that can be used to help children and young people make safer informed choices about themselves, personal relationships, gendered respect, consent and self-esteem.
- To consider the challenges associated with educating children and young people about this.
