Vacancy: Blackpool Safeguarding Adult Board Independent Chair

Blackpool Safeguarding Adults Board (BSAB) is seeking an experienced Independent Chair to provide leadership, strategic vision and oversight. They will challenge and hold to account the multi-agency board's effectiveness in meeting statutory requirements and coordinating local work to safeguard adults who require care and support.
Applicants should demonstrate senior management experience within a public service, social care or health setting and possess good operational and strategic understanding of the safeguarding agenda for adults at risk of abuse or neglect, the ability to work collaboratively, influence others and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
To maintain the integrity of this appointment, applicants must not have any current affiliation with any of the agencies represented on the Blackpool Safeguarding Adults Board and must be able to demonstrate that they can undertake this role independently.
